Removable braces can be removed by the patient. Dr Bowe may use them as part of a fixed brace treatment or sometimes in interceptive cases on their own.

It is recommended that they are worn about 22 hours per day. They are made of acrylic and light stainless steel wires which hold the appliance on to the teeth. They are removed for eating, toothbrushing and sports. They can come in multiple colours which can make them more appealing to younger patients! Dr Bowe will advise if you may be having a removable brace as part of your treatment
